a sacrifice

One night a couple called Sophie and Rob were walking home.

Rob was hit over the head by members of a gang.

The reason—he was a goth. He fell unconcious but they continued kicking him. Sophie knelt down and cradeled his head, taking the rest of the beatings for him.

She died in hospital. He's still alive today.
